David Halligan is co-founder of Datawatt Energy, a renewable energy company using blockchain technology to allow people everywhere to invest in renewable energy projects anywhere in the world. David believes blockchain is a developing technology, which will bring efficiencies to help expand the global proliferation of renewable energy. Prior to co-founding Datawatt Energy, David was chief executive of Goldwind Americas, subsidiary of China-based Goldwind Science & Technology, where he helped launch and lead the commercialization of Goldwind’s wind turbine technology in the Americas. David’s renewable energy experience includes working with wind project developer First Wind and global electricity producer, Enel.
