Dr. Gregory J. Moncada is the founding director of the Qatar Academy for Science and Technology (QAST). QAST is a science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) high school within the Qatar Foundation. Dr. Moncada is the former principal of the International Community School near Seattle and STEM Coordinator in the Bainbridge Island School District. Dr. Moncada has developed new schools and programs in Spain, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, and on Bainbridge Island.
