Wanjiku Itambo is the Associate Director of People and Culture at Kidogo, where she leads the development and implementation of a comprehensive people strategy that spans the entire employee lifecycle. A qualified CHRP with over 13 years of experience in people operations, Wanjiku brings deep expertise and a global perspective—shaped largely through her work in the fintech sector. Her leadership is marked by a strong partnership with Kidogo’s executive team to cultivate a high-performing, inclusive, and values-driven workplace.

Beyond her role at Kidogo, Wanjiku is the Co-founder and Director of Phoenix Twenty, a consulting firm focused on strengthening SME performance. Her core strengths lie in workforce management, as well as designing and streamlining policies and processes to enhance organizational efficiency.

When she’s not championing talent and workplace culture, Wanjiku enjoys quality time with her family and the open road, often finding inspiration through travel and new experiences.
