In addition to the main platform, Angaza has developed the Kalamu WhatsApp Chat service, which provides AI-driven teacher support. This service offers pedagogical guidance to enhance instruction, aiming to maximize the effectiveness of planning while minimizing the time required. At the end of each week, teachers receive clustered learner progress reports with targeted instructional interventions. Currently, this chat service assists over 5,700 daily active grade 1–3 teachers. These teachers have saved over 25% of their time by reducing administrative burdens, enabling them to focus more on instruction and engaging with their learners.
