Architect and Founder, Atlas Bookstore & Studio Imara

Fatma Al-Sahlawi is an architect and urbanist based in Doha. She is the founder of Atlas Bookstore (2015), a transient bookstore specialised in the architecture and urbanism of the MENA region, and co-founder of Studio Imara (2017), an interdisciplinary design practice. Fatma’s experience in curating architectural exhibitions includes co-curating “Mudun: Urban Cultures in Transit” in 2017 for Cultural Engineering at the Vitra Design Museum and co-curating the travelling exhibition “Making Doha” in 2019 with Rem Koolhaas & Samir Bantal of AMO, for Qatar Museums at the National Museum of Qatar.
