Her Excellency Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi has held several important positions, including President of Pre-University Education at Qatar Foundation from 2016 to 2021.

Earlier in her career and before joining Qatar Foundation in 2006, Her Excellency was a teacher, then a head of department and later a vice principal at several Ministry of Education and Higher Education schools.

During her time at Qatar Foundation, Her Excellency had held several leadership positions, including Founding President of Pre-University Education. During her tenure in this position, she developed many existing programs and established specialised schools and new centres.

Her Excellency has served on many national education committees and school boards of trustees, including the Franco-Qatarien Voltaire school and the Joint Advisory Board of Texas A&M University in Qatar.

Her Excellency holds an EMBA from HEC Paris and a bachelor’s degree in Arts and Education, majoring in English from Qatar University.
