Alina Zaman works as a research assistant at the college of Islamic studies at HBKU. She has a background in the field of teaching, research and administration. Alina graduated with a Master of Arts in Islam & Global Affairs from the College of Islamic Studies at HBKU. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Linguistics and a minor in Philosophy from the college of Arts & Science at Qatar University. Aside from academics, Alina is the founder and CEO of Qatra, a social enterprise that evolved out of her integrative lab research project from HBKU’s Masters in Islam & Global Affairs program.
