Dr. Jean-Pierre is the Leadership for Learning lead at Education Development Trust. He is an educationist & economist practitioner able to influence sustainable change across the full spectrum of education provision through designing and leading the implementation of education programmes at large scale. 10+ years of experience in senior leadership across a wide range of national and international organizations including the University of Rwanda, Save the Children, World Bank, VVOB and Education Development Trust. Experienced in designing workplace-based and role-specific training materials for school and system leaders. Recent experience with the UK-funded Building Learning Foundation (BLF) programme to design and lead the implementation of the capacity development framework for school leaders. He spearheads the ‘leadership for learning’ system to ensure school leaders’ skills and competencies are right to improve inclusive learning outcomes in schools. He leads the establishment and the organic growth of networks of school leaders in Rwanda.
