Tanya has had experience with education technology initiatives, community development and program design. She is the Director of Partner Success at The Rumie Initiative, a non-profit education technology organization. She has been leading global projects in both Afghanistan and Pakistan, that aim to provide free, localized learning technology solutions to various communities, especially women and girls. Tanya is also pursuing a graduate degree in Adult Education & Community Development at the University of Toronto. Her research interests lie at the intersection of gender, technology and community development, specifically in South Asia.
