“How will robotics and automation change the workforce and what new skills will be required?”

WISE co-curated the closing plenary of the World Strategic Forum organized by the International Economic Forum of the Americas (WSF-IEFA) on April 17, 2018. The session explored the impact of disruptive technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and automation on the global economy.

The session served to highlight the important role that education can and should play in addressing some of the challenges posed by these technologies.

How will robotics and automation change the workforce and what new skills will be required?

WISE has been the preferred education partner for the IEFA for past four years and has also shared its global expertise and perspectives at other flagship IEFA forums such as the Conference de Montreal, and Conference de Paris.
