Nicholas Holt is a Professor in the Faculty of Physical Education and Recreation at the University of Alberta, Canada. His research looks at psychosocial aspects of youth sport, and he is interested in a range of issues includes life skills, peer interactions, parenting, talent development, and coping. He has edited two books, both published by Routledge. He is the serving president of the Canadian Society for Psychomotor Learning and Sport Psychology, and a Certified Consultant with the Association of Applied Sport Psychology.
