Ajaya Ghimire is the chairman of the Ace Institute of Management and Ace Higher Secondary School, the schools he founded in 1999 in Nepal. The institutions he founded or co-founded and managed include banks, merchant banks, real estate firms, and non-profit supporting policy entrepreneurship in Nepal. He also served on the senate and management subject committee of Pokhara University, one of Nepal’s public universities. Ajaya received a Doctor of Education from the University of Southern California in 2019. A recipient of Fulbright for his Master of Science in Management (1994) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, he received a Master of Science in Mathematics from Panjab University in 1984.
