For many years, Sandra supports learners with special needs working in collaboration with a wide range of organisations and institutions in her country, Europe, and globally.<\/p>\n<p>Sandra is leading the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/dutch-cities-of-learning-0429951ba\/?originalSubdomain=nl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dutch Cities of Learning<\/a>\u00a0partnerships in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/tilburg.cityoflearning.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tilburg City of Learning<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/breda.cityoflearning.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Breda City of Learning<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/rotterdam.cityoflearning.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rotterdam City of Learning<\/a>.\u00a0She is also our link to alliances in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/eastern-cape.regionoflearning.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Eastern Cape Region of Learning<\/a>\u00a0in South Africa and the newly launched\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/curacao.regionoflearning.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Curacao Island of Learning<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Over the last years Sandra has developed a wealth of experience designing, piloting, and using digital Open Badges systems to validate learning and recognise skills in diverse learning settings.<\/p>\n<p>She supports other stakeholders with her experience of building, maintaining and sometimes failing to create learning and recognition ecosystems. She is passionate about involving learners and partner organisation in co-designing learning, career, and civic pathways in cities and transnationally, focusing on digital literacies, 21st-century skills, entrepreneurial skills, and the global youth skills.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the latest examples of her work are the Learning Playlists\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/global.cityoflearning.eu\/en\/activities\/11486\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pathway to Personal Leadership<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/tilburg.cityoflearning.eu\/en\/activities\/10852\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Get fit for Future<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/tilburg.cityoflearning.eu\/en\/activities\/11139\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Befriend the Machines<\/a>\u00a0learning pathways.\u00a0The latter was\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/schedule.mozillafestival.org\/session\/EHQMAH-1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">featured at the Mozilla Festival<\/a>\u00a0and endorsed by the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.warpvr.com\/\">WARP VR<\/a>\u00a0tech company. She also successfully works with South Africa partners, bringing them to our network and supporting them locally.
