Maria A. May\u00a0is the senior program manager for the BRAC\u00a0Social Innovation Lab<\/a>\u00a0and also oversees financial education, research, and development for the BRAC Microfinance Programme. She is based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She co-authored\u00a0Making Tuberculosis History: Community-based Solutions for Millions<\/a>\u00a0and regularly blogs on\u00a059minutedevelopment.blogspot.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Prior to joining BRAC in 2011, she spent three years working with Harvard\u2019s Global Health Delivery Project with a particular focus on strategy and scale up. She completed a fellowship with the New York State Department of Health\u2019s National Quality Center, which works to improve public services available to people living with HIV.
