Her work focuses on school development research and educational regions with a special focus on leadership research in schools in the context of regional school development. In current projects (Modellregion Bildung Zillertal) she researches success factors of the comprehensive school and examines supporting role structures for school development in rural areas. In her work for the\u00a0<i>National Center for Learning Schools<\/i>her main interest lies in education systems and network research.
