Azza Saad has been a research assistant at Qatar University Young Scientists Center since August 2015. Her experience includes conducting hands-on activities with high school students on various topics in materials science while engaging and encouraging competitiveness among them. She carried out experiments and research according to protocols laid out by professors and primary researchers, collected and logged experimental data, and conducted statistical analyses of data sets. In addition, she successfully encouraged and motivated students to study scientific disciplines in Qatar. In addition to scientific research, she Performs STEM workshops for school students (primary, preparatory, and secondary). Also, she participated with the students in national and international scientific research competitions, and they received awards in different categories. Many groups of students she supervised were nominated to represent Qatar in the INTEL ISEF competition in the USA, Malaysia, Korea, Canada, and Dubai.
