David Wilgenbus

CEO, Office of Climate Education

David Wilgenbus, astrophysicist by training, has worked in the “La main à la pâte” team between 2001 and 2018 as head of the “resource production” department. He coordinated several large-scale educational programs, dealing with science (computer sciences, astronomy) and sustainable development (climate change, health, natural disasters). His educational programs have been implemented by ~ 100,000 classes in France and abroad.

David Wilgenbus works now as Chief executive officer of the Office for Climate Education (OCE: www.oce.global), an international initiative to promote climate change education. The OCE is a foundation under the aegis of “La main à la pate”, based in Paris, and working with ~ 60 organizations worldwide.
