Michael H. Romanowski is a professor in the College of Education and Coordinator of Graduate Studies in the Educational Science Department at Qatar University. He holds a PhD. In Educational Leadership from Miami University. He has worked as a secondary teacher in the US and has held university faculty positions in US, China and Qatar. His research and scholarship has published in numerous academic books and international journals. While in Qatar, he has successfully managed several grants examining Qatar’s educational reform. His research interests lie in the areas of educational reform and policy, critical theory, sociology of education and the development of critical thought. He continues to research and write on various educational and culture issues.
