He is passionate about providing children and young people with life-changing opportunity through education, regardless of their background, and removing barriers to their future. He has spent 20 years in international development and UK education. James has worked in organisations like Teach First, Save the Children, Concern Worldwide, The Humanitarian Forum and the Charity Commission, and in partnership with Governments in several countries and with western and Islamic NGOs. He has a Master’s degree in International Relations and was a commercial lawyer for several years.
