Jerome oversees the operations of the Global Coalition to Protect Education from Attack (GCPEA) on an interim basis. Before this, he was a senior researcher at GCPEA and led research for the flagship report, Education under Attack. Jerome also contributes towards strengthening monitoring and reporting of attacks on education at the Coalition and among partner organizations. Trained in qualitative and quantitative research methods, Jerome has a PhD in political science from Brown University. He has conducted extensive field research in Colombia and speaks Spanish. His research can be found in academic journals and outlets such as The New Humanitarian and El País.
