Joel is the founder and CEO of Sana Labs, an artificial intelligence company that powers education companies of the future, by applying recent breakthroughs in machine learning to personalize education at scale. Using deep neural networks, Sana Labs’ algorithms recommend educational content in real time based on each student’s learning patterns.

An enterprising child, Joel taught himself to code in C at age 13 and founded his first company, a video recommendation technology, at 16. Joel is an appointed AI-specialist by the Swedish government, and recently, he was awarded “Super-talent of the year” by Veckans Affärer for his work on the Sana technology.
