Lila Pieters

Ms Lila Pieters is the Representative of UNICEF in Tunisia. Before this she was the Senior Policy Advisor and Deputy Representative of UNICEF in Brussels in charge of partnerships, technical management, political orientation and programming. She was also the Deputy Representative of UNICEF in Turkey, in charge of the general coordination and execution of the Country Programme Development. Ms Pieters has extensive experience with UNICEF as Head of the Child Protection Programmes in various African countries. She holds a MA degree and a degree in Economics from the London School of Economics. She comes from Canada.
