Linda Egnatz (NBCT) is the Global Seal of Biliteracy Executive Director. A retired high school Spanish teacher, she taught World Language methodology courses at DePaul University. Egnatz is President-Elect of the Joint National Council on Languages, an Advisor to the Global Teachers Club, and Board Member of the Illinois Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages. Egnatz is a Golden Apple Teacher of Excellence and ACTFL National Language Teacher of the Year recipient. She frequently provides professional development on issues relating to language learning. She has published in Foreign Language Annals, Hispania, The Language Educator, Language Magazine and Education Weekly.
