Scott Featherston is a former Global Health Sector Leader and Principal Investment Officer for the IFC, the private sector arm of the World Bank Group. During his time at IFC (2005-2015), Scott led numerous equity transactions in the health and education sectors, founded IFC’s Health in Africa initiative, and was an important member of the team that built IFC’s health and education practice to its position today. Scott’s early career was in engineering and finance. He worked for a global construction and project management firm before joining the finance advisory practice of a “Big 5” global consulting firm.
