Joëlle Dumas is the Founder and Director of Ecole Claire Fontaine, a 30-year-old Art, Language and Nature school for young children near the ocean in Venice, California. Madame Dumas works for the benefit of children with the Children’s Committee of the Venice Neighborhood Council and as Co-Founder and Chair of the Venice Chamber of Commerce Education Committee.

She received the prestigious title of Chevalier of the “Palmes Academiques,” by the French Ministry of Education and was nominated Executive Director of Cultural Affairs for “Movement of French Abroad.” She was awarded Spirit of Venice and Women Artists of Venice awards.
