Lisa Petrides, PhD, is President and founder of the Institute for the Study of Knowledge Management in Education (ISKME), an independent educational research institute. ISKME’s work includes research and innovative field-building initiatives in the area of knowledge sharing in education. As leader of the OER (Open Educational Resources) Commons initiative, she helped facilitate the creation and adaptation of dynamic, evolving open educational resources. A former professor in the Department of Organization and Leadership at Columbia University’s Teachers College, Petrides received her PhD in Education from Stanford University. She is widely published and gives keynote addresses across the globe.
