Onyi Ough is a Nigerian international development practitioner specializing in anti-corruption and service delivery. She is the author of two children books on anti-corruption ‘Emeka’s Money’ and ‘Halima’s Vote’. Her books are aimed at educating kids on the impact of corruption and encouraging them to take leadership roles in tackling corruption and demanding for good services. In 2018, she established the Nigerian based Non-Government Organization ‘Step Up for Social Development and Empowerment’ (Step Up Nigeria) with the aim to help strengthen accountability on government delivery and tackle some of the corruption challenges. She recently launched the ‘Catch Them Young Initiative’ which is aimed at promoting anti-corruption education in primary schools across Nigeria.
