About the Project

The world’s fastest growing youth population is in Sub-Saharan Africa with five hundred million people under the age of eighteen. It will be impossible to provide these millions of young people with up-to-date learning and teaching resources without the use of technology. But while 80% of all schools do not have access to electricity, UN Sustainable Development goals make educating these young people a high priority.

The CyberSmart Digital Learning Platform directly addresses this challenge with the world’s first classroom learning platform designed for massive scale and specifically to meet the unique needs of these developing regions. It is an all-in-one mobile device offering the world’s most advanced learning technologies, a package of quality open source content, the tools to easily generate custom content and training.
