Dr. Dov Lynch is Chief of the Section for Global Citizenship and Peace Education, in the Division for Peace and Sustainable Development, Education Sector, UNESCO. Prior to this, he worked in the Cabinet of the UNESCO Director-General, from 2010, including as Focal Point for Preventing Violent Extremism. He started his career as a Lecturer in War Studies at the King’s College London and worked previously as Senior Advisor in the Cabinet of the Secretary-General of the OSCE as well as for the EU Institute for Security Studies, with a focus in the field of conflict resolution as well as second track diplomacy. He was educated at Yale University and Oxford University.
