Dr Davies Banda is the Adviser to the Programme Director of Generation Amazing – a human and social legacy of the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy. Davies is the Director of Learning and Teaching at Moray House School of Education and Sport at the University of Edinburgh. He has extensive experience in education having worked in both the Global South and Global North as a teacher, sports coach and researcher. He is an active researcher in the field of sport for change and international development having worked as a researcher on commissioned projects by the UK Home Office, UNICEF, UNESCO and funded projects by the British Council. He supports the co-creation and co-production of social interventions using sport as a tool for transformational change among target communities.
