She is supporting SMEs, universities and governmental initiatives aiming at putting innovation at the forefront of economic and social development. Catalina is a member of the American Society of Human Genetics, the Latin American Society of Human Genetics, and the Colombian Society of Human Genetics, and also a member of the Personalized Medicine Coalition.
