Peter is the Chief Program Officer of the Mastercard Foundation. In this role, he part of the senior leadership team and has responsibility over the country and regional programs of the Foundation. He joined the  Foundation three years ago from the World Bank where he served for several years as Practice Manager for Education and Skills Development in Africa. During his time at the World Bank, Peter conceived the Africa Centers of Excellence initiative and made significant contribution to the establishment of the Partnership for Applied Science, Engineering and Technology (PASET) – initiatives that seek to advance the quality and relevance of science and technology in higher education across the continent. Peter holds a doctorate in electrical engineering and masters degrees in engineering and education.
