PraxiLabs aims to provide equal opportunity for an enhanced STEM education for students everywhere by providing 3D interactive virtual simulations of science labs that are accessible, usable, and affordable for educational institutions and students alike. PraxiLabs not only provides an immersive virtual lab experience, but adds enriched content that provides students with more understanding and knowledge according to their own pace and learning style. PraxiLabs is available in both Arabic and English to provide a thorough experience for students with the same user-experience and knowledge in both languages.
Safety hazards, high costs, ethical challenges, limited lab access for students, lack of engagement and student interest, and high student dropout rates are only some of the many problems that traditional science labs in science education are facing. While labs and lab work are essential for a good science education, the lack thereof directly affects the students and their learning outcomes.
Against this backdrop, PraxiLabs’ virtual labs offer enhanced and practice-focused learner experiences, fast loading speeds, multilanguage support (for easy addition of more languages) and real life simulations. Through PraxiLabs virtual labs, education institutions can achieve an increase in student’s learning outcomes and retention, but also a reduction in costs for universities and less safety issues.
Founded in 2017, PraxiLabs currently has over 500,000 users across the Middle East and countries including the US, UK, the Philippines, Thailand, Peru, Mexico and New Zealand. The PraxiLabs team plans to further expand their reach across Africa and Europe.
