Machaille Hassan Al Naimi

President of Community Development, Qatar Foundation

As President of Community Development, Machaille Hassan Al Naimi plays a vital role in enriching Qatar Foundation’s contribution to the social and economic prosperity of the people of Qatar.

Machaille began her career as an attorney at Patton Boggs, a US law firm where she advised both local and international clients. She later joined ExxonMobil Qatar Inc. as Legal Counsel, supporting Qatar Petroleum Joint-Venture projects with RasGas, Laffan Refinery, and Al Khaleej Gas.

Machaille also has experience working with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 18/CMP 8). As the Chief Legal Counsel and Advisor to the President, she has represented Qatar at multiple negotiations and engagements with global institutions, such as the United Nations Office in New York, the United Nations Secretariat in Bonn, the World Bank, MEF, the White House, and others.
