Helena Lindholm is Pro Vice-Chancellor and Professor in peace and development research at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. Her research area covers conflicts in the Middle East with a focus on the Palestinian–Israeli conflict, Palestinian politics, identity, the refugee issue, as well as the reconstruction of war-torn societies. As Pro Vice-Chancellor, Helena is currently coordinating the university’s efforts for the integration of refugee students into university structures and leading efforts of providing assistance for scholars at risk within the Scholars at Risk Network. Moreover, she is actively contributing to the university’s outreach activities and communications on the refugee question to society at large.
