Thanya Kunakornpaiboonsiri is a senior journalist and a freelance writer and blogger, covering developments in the modernization of Asean’s public sector with the focus on innovative Education and Health. A native of Bangkok, she previously worked for The Nation, one of Thailand’s leading newspapers, and FutureGov, Asia’s only government, education and healthcare modernisation title.

After receiving an undergraduate degree in journalism from Chulalongkorn University, Thanya took her masters at Leeds University’s Institute of Communications, in the United Kingdom. She won a ‘Young Reporter’ prize from the Reporter & Journalist Association of Thailand.
