Sue Russell, President of the Child Care Services Association (CCSA), is an expert on early care and education. She holds a Master’s degree in Child Care Administration and, in 1974, founded the Day Care Services Association, now CCSA, which has grown into a $35 million non-profit providing free referral services to families seeking child care, technical assistance to child care businesses, and educational scholarships and salary supplements to early care and education professionals. Russell is also the former President of the Governing Board of the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
