Cindy Mi is the Founder and CEO of VIPKID, holds an MBA from Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business, is a Ph.D. candidate in Education at Tsinghua University, and serves on the Board of Directors at Beijing Foreign Studies University. She is also a 2018 World Economic Forum “Young Global Leader,” a member of the advisory committee of the Tsinghua University Student Global Competence Development Center, an executive director at the Center for China and Globalization (CCG), a 2020 Eisenhower Fellow, and a 2024 China-ASEAN Young Leader.

Founded by Cindy Mi in 2013, VIPKID is a digital platform that provides one-stop online language learning for global families. The company has built a multilingual, global, lifelong learning product ecosystem based on three core values: Education, Technology, and Service.

Today, the VIPKID online platform has hundreds of thousands of users across 50 countries and is continuously expanding into overseas online education markets, establishing and growing localized businesses in North America, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
