Jed Oppenheim is a Program Officer for the W.K. Kellogg Foundation in Jackson, Mississippi, focused on early childhood education, economic security and food systems with a racial equity lens. He has more than15 years of experience in various types of education advocacy, including time served on the local board of education in Jackson. Jed holds a degree in American studies from UC Santa Cruz and a master’s degree from Teacher’s College – Columbia University. He is a doctoral candidate in the Global Executive Ed.D. Program at the University of Southern California.
