Dr. Joannie Bewa is a multifaceted communication specialist and a bilingual (English- French) professional moderator with a unique moderation and public speaking style. Her global engagement and exposure to international development and media has led her to a second career as a moderator, facilitator and keynote speaker for global forums and conferences after her first and ongoing career as family medicine physician and health researcher.

Dr Joannie Bewa moderated events for the United Nations, the World Health Organization, Oxfam, the African Development Bank, the United Nations General Assembly, other private sector and was a speaker on several panels led by government and foundations such as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Canadian Government, UN Women, Africa Union Commission etc. She has over a decade of experience in communication, international development, global health and advocacy in Africa and the United States.
