Leonardo Párraga is a global citizen acting in a local context. A Colombian activist who believes in the value of systemic change through sustainable peace, increasing community well-being, and building strong networks. Passionate about the arts, alternative development, and constant learning. A graduate of Harvard University’s Master of Education with wide experience in nonviolence resistance. With his team at the BogotArt Foundation, they create a more democratic art world one artwork at a time. He is the winner of the Youth Carnegie Peace Prize and One Billion Act Hero Award. He is the co-founder of the Juventudes Por La Paz, a Spanish-speaking network building a peaceful environment in Latin America. He is currently the Digital Youth Engagement Officer at CIVICUS and a member of the European Union Youth Sounding Board.
