Building on her passion for collective impact for the most vulnerable, Rebecca Chandler Leege leads World Vision’s engagement in All Children Reading: A Grand Challenge for Development.

All Children Reading: A Grand Challenge for Development, a partnership of USAID, World Vision and the Australian Government, is an ongoing series of grant and prize competitions that leverages science and technology to source, test and disseminate scalable solutions to improve literacy skills of early grade learners in developing countries. Prior to this, she was the director of World Vision US’s child development and protection department, focused on the education, gender and child protection sectors. Rebecca also worked with World Relief for four years, initially in Rwanda as their director of programs and then at their headquarters in the USA as director of global program operations. She has lived and worked throughout Africa and Asia for more than 10 years and worked for six years with Fortune 500 companies in international human resources. She holds a Master of Science Degree from Boston University.
